1A: Bees and Math and Scholastic Book Orders

Dear Parents,

Today in math we integrated our study of bees with math word problems that require critical thinking skills.  The children enjoyed solving the problems and showing their work using the SmartBoard.

Today your children are bringing home two Scholastic Book Order flyers.  The flyers contain many different fiction and non-fiction selections on various topics and appropriate for a wide range of reading levels.  Additionally, you can visit the Scholastic Book Clubs website for more selections.  If you are interested in ordering books this month, please place your order online at www.scholastic.com/readingclubs.  Our class activation code, which you will need the first time you place an order this year, is JD9MC.  If you would like to place an order this month, please submit your order online by Monday, September 22nd.
